If Only They Knew is a public art project connecting stories of the lived experience — creating and curating from the narratives around and within us.
If Only They Knew
Reflection | Interpretation | Contribution.
Reflection
Consider if you have ever wondered, “If only they knew...” If not, I encourage you to think about what you wish others knew that you think would make life better. However, you likely have.
Interpretation
Read IOTK stories in honor of others and hopes of new connections. This project and the stories it helps carry should be viewed as regenerative and evolving, ripe for interpretation.
Your respect is expected, kindness is appreciated, and empowerment and engagement are encouraged.
Contribution

Stories manifest many ways. Although submissions can include text, photos, videos, artwork, and more, be mindful not all are transferable to digital spaces. Although text and photos are most common, do not feel limited. Ultimately, share however you feel is best to share your stories and adding to the collective.
TIPS TO CONSIDER
Text - Less than 400 characters
Photos - As high resolution as possible. Feel free to send a few to coordinate and formalize your story before being shared.
Videos - As high resolution as possible and limited to 30 seconds.
